Tom Rothschild

Tom (Tomer) Rothschild is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Senior Staff Software Engineer at Luminar Technologies since October 2022, Tom has previously held positions such as Staff Software Engineer at Tesla and Senior Engineering Manager at Next Insurance. Notable contributions include leading development efforts for a web-scale cloud platform at CloudShare and managing the development of a mission-critical transaction processing system at Barclays. Tom's career began in the Israel Defense Forces, with foundational experience gained as a Software Developer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Educationally, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Tel Aviv University, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
