Axel Focht

Axel Focht has a long work history, beginning with a role as an Assistant Surveyor at Ingenieurbüro Nietsche & Parthesius in 1996. Axel then served in the German Federal Armed Forces as a JFST (reconnaissance) in 1995. In 1998, they became a Land, Geospatial and Building Surveyor at Ingenieurbüro Giessler. In 2000, they became a Managing Engineer at Ingenieurbüro Töbermann. In 2001, they took a role as a Land/Geospatial Surveyor at the Katasteramt Nordfriesland. In 2002, they became a Firefighter at Feuerwehr Hamburg. In 2003, they took on two roles at HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH, as a Customer Services Manager and an Order Management Executive. In 2009, they were promoted to Senior Manager Analytics and Reporting at HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH (part of Telefónica O2 Germany). From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Groupon, first as a CS Operations Support Director, then as Head of Customer Service Northern Europe, and finally as Business Developer/Deputy Head of Customer Service. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have worked at Luminet in a variety of roles, including Networks & Operations Director, Operations Director, Commercial & Customer Director, and Head of Customer Experience.

Axel Focht has an extensive education history. In 1996, they earned a Master's degree in Geomatics from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. From 2005 to 2007, they completed a Master's Degree in Business Management from FernUniversität in Hagen. In 2009, they attended Feuerwehrakademie Hamburg to study Pedagogy and Didactic Methods. In 2014, they earned a Certificate in Net Promoter certified associate from NICE Satmetrix. In 2020, they completed a Managing Safely course from IOSH. In 2021, they earned a National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH. Finally, in 2022, they earned a Certificate in Fire Safety from NEBOSH.
