Kabisa Baughen

Kabisa Baughen is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in the medical device sector. Currently serving as a Staff Systems Development Engineer at Luminex Corporation since February 2021, Kabisa previously held the position of Engineer at Catapult Product Development and Project Manager/Biomedical Engineer at Archimedic, where involvement included full product development lifecycle. Education includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, where work on a neonatal transilluminator device earned a patent application. Kabisa also contributed to diversity in STEM as the Lead Coordinator for the New Scientist Collective at Brown University and has held various internships focusing on research, marketing, and sales.
