Tyler Chapman has a diverse work experience in the field of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and XR (extended reality) development. At Lumineye, they currently work as a Senior AR Software Engineer, designing systems within Unity to visualize through-wall sensing technology in AR. Tyler also serves as a subject matter expert in the AR space.

Tyler also has experience at Boise State University as a Unity Developer Lead, where they worked on special projects involving VR, AR, 360 video, and mobile development. Tyler also served as a Special Projects Manager and Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist during their time there.

In 2019, Tyler worked at Sindro, Inc. as the Director of Service Delivery, focusing on improving service quality and managing projects. Tyler also interned at NASA as an Extended Reality (XR) Simulation Development Intern, developing simulation software for VR/AR astronaut training and immersive design evaluation.

Early in their career, Tyler worked at proof. Pest Control as a Senior Sales Manager, leading a sales team and performing door-to-door sales acquisition. Tyler also served as a Junior Sales Manager and Sales Representative at the same company.

Tyler Chapman attended Boise State University from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained two bachelor's degrees. Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Games, Interactive Media, and Mobile, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. In November 2018, Tyler also obtained a certification as a Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
