Nirmala Balakrishnan

Nirmala Balakrishnan has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and digital verification. Nirmala is currently serving as the Head of Digital Verification at Luminous Computing since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation as an Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer from May 2016 to July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Principal Engineer/Senior Manager at SKHynix Memory Solutions from June 2014 to May 2016. Nirmala also worked as a Technical Leader in Design Verification at Violin Memory from June 2012 to June 2014. Nirmala has a strong background in hardware engineering, having worked as a Technical Leader at Cisco Systems from 2000 to 2012 and as a hardware engineer at Chameleon Systems / I2P -Integrated Intellectual Property Inc. from 1999 to 2000. Nirmala started their career as an R&D Design Engineer at realchip from 1997 to 1999.

Nirmala Balakrishnan has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathiar University. Nirmala also has a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from San Francisco Bay University.
