Gilles Rainer

Senior Research Scientist at Lumirithmic

Gilles Rainer has a diverse work experience in research and development roles. Gilles is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at Lumirithmic since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria from December 2020 to January 2022, where they focused on real-time neural rendering and published a paper at Eurographics 2022. Gilles also had a 6-month internship as a PhD Intern at PlayStation (SIE) in 2020, where they worked on deep learning solutions for real-time global illumination rendering. Additionally, they had an internship at SEV Communication in 2013.

Gilles Rainer's education history is as follows:

From 2015 to 2020, Gilles pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computer Graphics at UCL. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Computer Graphics, Vision, and Imaging from UCL, from 2014 to 2015.

Gilles obtained an Engineer's Degree from Télecom Paris, specializing in Ingénieur diplômé de Télecom ParisTech de l'Institut Mines-Télécom. This degree was earned from 2012 to 2015.

In the earlier years of their education, Gilles attended Lycée du Parc from 2010 to 2012, where they completed Preparatory Classes to the Grandes Écoles, specifically in the field of PSI (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Sciences).
