Emmi Seppänen has held a variety of positions in the past 13 years. In 2008, they began their career as a Restaurant Worker at McDonald's. In 2010, they worked as a Cashier at Kesko - K-Group. In 2011 and 2012, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Metsä Fibre. In 2012, they also worked as a Hoitoapulainen at Rinnekoti. In 2013, they worked as a Cashier Customer Service (part-time) at Etelä-Karjalan Osuuskauppa and as a Customer Service Coordinator at Metsä Board. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Support Assistant at Metsä Fibre. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Management Events as a Delegate Operations Matrix Coach, a Senior Project Manager Finnish & Nordic Operations, and a Project Manager. Currently, Emmi Seppänen is a Customer Success Manager at Lumoa, a customer insight platform. Her role involves leading the implementation of the platform by TOP 500 companies and well-known organizations, and helping clients drive organizational change and improvement through actionable CX insights.

Emmi Seppänen began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended Kimpisen Lukio. In 2007-2008, they took part in an exchange year at Liceo de Moravia. From 2009-2013, they studied at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business and Logistics. From 2011-2012, they attended Universiti Sains Malaysia, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In 2015, they took part in a program at Sungkyunkwan University, studying International Trade. Finally, from 2013-2017, they attended LUT University, earning a Masters of Science in International Marketing Management.
