Saran Chari

Saran Chari is the current CTO at Lumosity, a position they have held since 2012. Prior to Lumosity, Chari was a co-founder and the CTO of Flixster & Rotten Tomatoes from 2005 to 2012. Chari Ventures, their previous company, was acquired by Warner Brothers in 2011. From 2001 to 2005, Chari was the VP of Engineering at Edusoft, where they and their team developed a unique plain-paper scanning technology that delivered over 10 million tests to students across the country. Edusoft was acquired by Houghton Mifflin in 2004. Prior to Edusoft, Chari worked as a software engineer at SapientRazorfish from 1999 to 2001.

Saran Chari graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
