Scott Kahn

Scott Kahn has extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare and genomics industries. Scott currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Blue Circle Health, a T1D healthcare delivery system focused on improving diabetes care in underserved communities. Prior to this, Scott co-founded the Rancho Santa Fe Vintners & Growers Association and served as a grower and winemaker. Scott also held the position of Chief Information and Privacy Officer at LunaPBC, a genomic and medical research database company.

Scott has also been involved in several advisory and board roles, including serving on the Board of Directors at Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine, the Supervisory Board's Information Technology Committee at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, and as an advisor at GeneYouIn Inc., Self-employed, PRECISION MEDICINE ALLIANCE, and Natalbiome.

Earlier in their career, Scott worked at Illumina, where they held various leadership positions, including Vice President Commercial, Enterprise Informatics, and CIO and VP Informatics.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated a focus on healthcare informatics, genomics, and medical research, as well as a dedication to improving patient care and access to healthcare.

Scott Kahn has a diverse educational background in the field of chemistry. Scott began their academic journey at Rider University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry between 1977 and 1981. Following this, they pursued a Doctorate in Theoretical Organic Chemistry at UC Irvine from 1981 to 1986. Continuing their academic pursuits, they engaged in a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular Modeling at the University of Cambridge from 1986 to 1987.
