Bastian Nicolai

Bastian Nicolai has a long and varied work experience. Bastian began their career in 2006 as a Trainee at Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH. In 2007, they were promoted to Trainee, Assistant of Project Manager at the same company. From 2009-2013, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Chair of Molecular Biotechnology and the Chair of Biocatalysis at the RWTH Aachen University. In 2011, they were a Student Trainee at EUtech Scientific Engineering GmbH. From 2015-2019, they worked at Miltenyi Biotec as a Global Product Manager Sample Preparation and Junior Product Manager Sample Preparation. Since 2019, they have been a Global Product Manager Automated Solutions at QIAGEN. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Product Manager at Lunaphore.

Bastian Nicolai received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Bio- and Nanotechnologies from the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in 2011. Bastian then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular and Applied Biotechnology from RWTH Aachen University, which they completed in 2014.
