Ray Sanne has a diverse work experience in manufacturing engineering. They started their career as an intern at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they worked on solving manufacturing process problems and investigating defects. After that, they worked as an Associate Body Manufacturing Engineer at Tesla, where they took ownership of the Model X Body Framing line and made improvements to the welding and robot zoning/sequencing to meet production targets. They also designed and installed building structures to improve maintenance access and reduce downtime, increasing line throughput. They then progressed to the role of Body Manufacturing Engineer, where they led the process and tooling design for the Model 3 Underbody framing systems and programmed Fanuc robots to improve productivity and quality. They also led the equipment debug and commissioning of the Model 3 Underbody framing lines. Ray then joined Veev as a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, and later moved to Kittyhawk as a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. Currently, they are working as the Head of Manufacturing Engineering at Lunar Energy. In 2020, Ray co-founded Brickhouse Automation, a company focused on addressing the challenges of manufacturing in various industries.

Ray Sanne completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, spanning from 2011 to 2015.
