Arwa Mustafa

Arwa Mustafa, PhD, has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of food science, extraction technologies, and phytochemicals. Currently serving as a Guest Researcher at Lund University since February 2022 and Project Lead for Product Development at Aventure AB since March 2017, Arwa has a strong background as the Founder and R&D Consultant at NutraGreen- Research and Technical Solutions. Past roles include Senior Lecturer at Högskolan Kristianstad, Nordics Technical Lead at Unilever, Extraction Expert at SIK, and multiple postdoctoral positions at Lund University and Uppsala University. Arwa‘s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Food Science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, a Postdoc in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University, and an MSc in Food Science from the University of Leeds. Key areas of expertise encompass green extraction technologies, nutraceutical development, and supervising research and graduate students.
