Maria Löfstedt

Maria Löfstedt is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in research communication and media. Currently serving as a Research Communications Officer at Lunds universitet since August 2021, Maria is involved in the Strategic Research Area EpiHealth focusing on geriatrics. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Communications Officer at the Lund University Center for Middle Eastern Studies, facilitating innovative and multidisciplinary research approaches. Additionally, from June 2002 to August 2021, Maria operated as a freelance journalist and editor while also serving as an Information Officer at the University of Gothenburg, where responsibilities included external communication and web management. Maria holds degrees in Journalism and Education, specializing in Swedish and Swedish as a second language, from the University of Gothenburg.
