Melanie R.

Melanie R. has a wealth of experience in the retail industry, having held various positions since 1999. Melanie began their career as a Brand Representative and Store Manager for Abercrombie & Fitch Co., before progressing to Senior Brand Coordinator for Hollister Bettys, Senior Field Coordinator, and Regional Brand Manager. In 2008, they joined Steven Alan as District Manager and West Coast Merchandising Manager. Melanie then moved to Clare V. in 2014 as Director of Retail, before joining goop.com in 2016 as Director of Retail Development and Vice President of Retail. In 2021, they became a Professor at FIDM, and is currently Vice President Commercial at Lunya & Lahgo.

Melanie R. obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Women's Studies from the University of South Florida between 1997 and 2001. In 2007, they attended the University of California, Los Angeles for an extension in Architecture. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management certification from Cornell University in June 2022.
