Ralph Merriam

Ralph Merriam currently serves as the Regional Representative for the Northern Triangle at Lutheran World Relief since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director for Grant Acquisition & Management at World Vision from January 2013 to December 2018, and Country Director for Honduras at Oxfam from August 2010 to October 2012. Ralph has also held positions as Director of the Strategic Program Unit for Central America and National Program Director for Nicaragua at CARE, Operations Officer at The World Bank, and Fundraising Coordinator at World Vision. Academically, Ralph holds two Master of Philosophy degrees in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Franklin & Marshall College.
