Bernie Murtagh - Open to new opportunities

Bernie Murtagh has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Most recently, in 2023, they worked as an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Consultant at Luxtripper. Prior to that, in 2023, Bernie participated in Microsoft Yammer Discovery Workshops focused on the public sector. In 2022, Bernie worked as a freelance professional, creating and hosting a knowledge sharing campaign called "12 Days of Yammer." They also served as a Microsoft Yammer Advisory Consultant at Synamedia. Before that, in 2022, Bernie participated in Microsoft Yammer Discovery Workshops in the private sector. From 2018 to 2021, Bernie worked at Capita, initially as a Modern Workplace - Employee Success Manager. In this role, they won the European Yammer Community Manager award in 2021 and managed the communication and awareness strategy for Office 365. They also oversaw the adoption and governance of Yammer within Capita. Bernie was also an Office 365 champion lead coordinator and Yammer community manager, recruiting and working closely with the Office 365 champion network to drive awareness and usage of Office 365 apps. From 2012 to 2018, Bernie worked at Capita Travel and Events as an Internal People Engagement & Communications Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Expotel as a Learning and Development Executive from 2002 to 2011 and at Rocco Forte Hotels as a Front Office Team Manager from 2001 to 2002. Bernie Murtagh completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Hospitality Management with Tourism from The Manchester Metropolitan University, attending from 1998 to 2002. Recently, Bernie also obtained a certification in Yammer End User Training from Microsoft in December 2021. Bernie is currently open to new opportunities in the education field.
