Nicole Dunbar

Nicole Dunbar, M.A., NCC, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in mental health counseling. Currently serving at Thaxton Holistic Wellness Center, LLC since July 2019 and Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 since September 2017, Nicole specializes in individual therapy, group therapy, treatment plan development, crisis planning, risk assessment, and family therapy. Previous roles include Mental Health Counselor at Candy’s Place A Cancer Wellness Center, Outpatient Therapist at OMNI Health Services, and Mental Health Worker at Geisinger Medical Center. Nicole has also contributed as a Counselor Intern at the Cancer Support Community - Greater Lehigh Valley and has a strong educational background with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University.
