Thanh Tran

Thanh Tran has been working in the finance industry since 2009. Thanh began their career as an Accounting Clerk at Boncor Building Products in 2009. Thanh then moved on to become an Accounting Officer at Western University in 2012. That same year, they took on the role of Financial Analyst at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In 2013, they were hired as a Financial Officer at the Office of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth. In 2014, they became a Project Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as both a Finance Manager and Director of Finance at Grand Challenges Canada. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as the Head of Finance and Operations at Lydia.ai.

Thanh Tran obtained a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) in Accounting and Finance from Western University in 2009. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from The Society of Management Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). In 2014, they obtained a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Additionally, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from The Hospital for Sick Children.
