Lydian
Andrew Crampton is a Principal Scientist at Lydian since May 2023, previously serving as a Research and Development Manager and Senior Scientist at L3Harris Technologies from October 2017 to May 2023, where expertise in aluminum-seawater batteries was applied to manage interdisciplinary teams and advance product solutions. Prior experiences include roles as a Feodor-Lynen Research Fellow at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, focusing on catalytic properties and electrochemical research. Andrew Crampton earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, where also a Master's degree was obtained, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Vermont.
