Laura Allen

Laura Allen, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Laura began their career in 1996 at Citizens, Inc, where they worked as an Assistant Manager and Correspondent in the Policyowner Service Department for four years. In 2001, they joined FAS Tex Logistics as a General Ledger Accountant, where they worked for four years. In 2005, Laura became the Chief Accountant at Encore Holdings, Inc, a position they held for eight years. In 2013, they joined 5-D Systems, Inc as a Controller for a brief period of ten months. Currently, Laura is the Chief Financial Officer at Lykes Cartage Company, where they have been working since 2014. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated their expertise and commitment in accounting and finance roles.

Laura Allen, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management/Marketing from Texas State University between 1992 and 1995. Later, between 2002 and 2005, they pursued a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Accounting from St. Edward's University.
