Sergey Stepanyan

Senior machine learning engineer at Lynceus

Sergey Stepanyan's work experience starts in 2015 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CentraleSupélec, where they worked for over four years in the EM2C laboratory. Sergey'srole involved experimental investigation of plasma-assisted combustion and data treatment of the obtained results. Sergey gained experience in team working and collaborations with other laboratories during this time. In 2021, Sergey joined Lynceus as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. No specific end date is provided for this role.

Sergey Stepanyan obtained their Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 2004 and 2010. Sergey then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plasma Physics from École Polytechnique from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Sergey has obtained several certifications. Sergey completed the "Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow" course from Coursera in April 2020. In March 2020, they completed the "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" course. Sergey also completed the "Introduction to MongoDB" course in January 2020 and the "SQL for Data Science" course in December 2019. Prior to these, in 2019, Sergey completed several courses including the "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects." Additionally, they also completed a course on "Convolutional Neural Networks" at an unspecified time.
