Hector Guzman

Hector Guzman has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Hector is currently serving as the Vice President of Technical Operations at Lyndra Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to this, they held a leadership position at Alkermes as the Executive Director of Process Development from November 2019 to March 2022, and as the Senior Director of Process Development from March 2019 to November 2021. Before joining Alkermes, Hector worked at the same company starting from 2009. During their tenure, they held several roles including Director of Process Development from 2014 to 2019, Associate Director of Process Development from 2011 to 2014, and Principal Engineer of Process Development from March 2009 to an undisclosed end date. Hector began their career at TransForm Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson company, as a Principal Scientist of Formulation Development from November 2001 to February 2009. Overall, Hector Guzman has accumulated extensive experience in process development and formulation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Hector Guzman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 2001.
