Christopher Hawkins

Chris has had a life-long interest in the coast and has spent his whole career in marine and coastal management. He has worked in the Florida Keys, American Samoa, and Hawaii in education, program management, and human dimensions research. Most recently, he directed Lynker’s Sustainable Pacific Program, establishing and maintaining partnerships with nonprofits and other capacity-challenged organizations. He is originally from western Massachusetts and enjoys spending time there with his large extended family when he can, as well as in Alaska with his wife Sarah’s family. Chris lives on Hawaii Island and is excited to lead Lynker’s efforts on the West Coast, Alaska and the U.S. Pacific Islands.
