Dave Shor

Founder, Executive Chairman, Chief Development Officer at Lynq Technologies

Dave Shor has a long history of working in various roles across different companies. Dave began their career in 2001 as a Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where they supervised twelve client employees during testing and two CGEY employees during script development. Dave also automated Microsoft Excel and Access financial management systems using Visual Basic for Applications and Mercury WinRunner, reducing average hours spent maintaining systems by 75%. In 2002, they moved to PSEG as a Senior Business Process Design Specialist and Project Manager, where they directed numerous enterprise-wide process and technology re-engineering initiatives, cross-functionally managing technical and business teams while consistently achieving reductions in time, resources and costs by greater than 50%. In 2007, Dave became the Operations Director at Costume Cultural Society, a volunteer arts organization that produced innovative events in NYC. Dave co-produced numerous fundraisers and events with attendance greater than five-hundred people per event, gaining an understanding of the significant differences in managing an all-volunteer organization and the tools needed to manage and motivate as compared to a corporate one. In 2010, Dave founded Mercy Nutraceuticals, Inc., the first nutraceutical company to focus solely on delivering measurable, observable benefits through consumer beverages and chewables. Dave led development, testing and introduction of three award-winning products, expanding into nootropics that measurably boosts cognitive performance while introducing a unique chewable delivery method. Dave also led investment in conjunction with the CEO, driving $6m in capital raised (out of $7m total). In 2015, Dave founded Lynq Technologies, Inc. and served as the Founder, Executive Chairman, and Chief Development Officer. Dave was also the CEO and Founder of Lynq, which changed how devices are connected -- peer-to-peer for miles without networks or infrastructure, in a manner that’s flexible and uniquely difficult to intercept and detect. In 2018, Dave became a Lead Mentor at Techstars, mentoring companies across 4 Techstars programs and acting as lead mentor for 7 companies.

Dave Shor graduated from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Psychology.
