Michael Asaad has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Michael started their career in 2012 at PepsiCo, where they worked as an HR Specialist and later as a Compensation & Benefits Assistant Manager. During their time at PepsiCo, they were responsible for managing legal records, conducting investigations, and implementing recognition and rewards initiatives.
In 2015, Michael joined Abou Ghaly Motors as an HR Business Partner, where they worked for a year before moving to Careem in 2016. At Careem, they held the position of HR Business Partner and was responsible for improving employee experience, providing HR-related recommendations, and handling day-to-day operational HR issues. Michael also played a role in recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
After working at Careem for two years, Michael joined FLSmidth as an HR Business Partner in 2018. In this role, they partnered with managers on various HR matters, such as performance management and staffing plans.
In 2019, Michael worked at elmenus as a People Partner, focusing on establishing strong relationships with employees and providing HR support. Michael then moved to paynas, where they served as the Head of People & Culture and HR Product Owner. In this role, they played a key role in shaping the company's people strategy.
Michael's most recent position is at Mongez, where they serve as the Head of People & Culture. Michael joined the company in December 2019 and is currently in this role, responsible for overseeing the company's people and culture initiatives.
Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated a strong understanding of HR processes and has been involved in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and culture development.
Michael Asaad has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from Misr International University, obtained between the years 2008 and 2012. Michael also holds a Thanawea Amma degree from College des Freres (Francais), obtained between 1995 and 2008.
In terms of additional certifications, Michael obtained the Employer Branding Certified from Universum, Sweden in July 2020. Michael also received the Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from SGS in October 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "How to Maximize the ROI in HR" from ROI Institute, Inc in March 2016, as well as the HR Audit certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2015.
