Joel Freundlich

Joel Freundlich is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at Rutgers University since 2011, Joel has contributed to the field of organic chemistry with a Ph.D. obtained from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996. Prior to academia, Joel held various scientific positions, including Senior Scientist at Jacobus Pharmaceuticals, Senior Research Scientist at Locus Pharmaceuticals, and Research Scientist II at Praecis Pharmaceuticals. Early career experience also includes a role as Research Chemist at Colgate-Palmolive. Joel is a graduate of Cornell University, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering was earned.
