Tuija Papinsaari

Tuija Papinsaari has extensive experience in tax and treasury roles. Tuija is currently serving as the Director of Tax and Treasury at M-Files. Prior to this, Tuija worked at Ahlstrom-Munksjö as the Head of Group Tax, where they were responsible for assessing and managing tax risks, ensuring an efficient legal and capital structure, tax audits, compliance, transfer pricing, and supporting new business transactions. Before that, they held the position of Group Tax Manager at Vaisala, where they oversaw tax accounting, transfer pricing, international taxation, compliance, and tax-optimized business modeling. Tuija also worked at SOK Corporation as a Tax Counsel, dealing with transfer pricing, tax accounting, domestic and international corporate income taxation, VAT, and HR & payroll issues. Tuija started their career as a Tax Advisor at Deloitte & Touche Oy and the Finnish Tax Administration.

Tuija Papinsaari obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki in 2001. From 2003 to 2005, they attended Joensuu Open University to study Tax Law and Management Accounting. In 2019, Tuija enrolled at Aalto Open University to pursue a degree in Management and International Business. Tuija is expected to complete their studies in 2022.
