Andrew Tawaststjerna

Andrew Tawaststjerna currently serves as a Sr. Portfolio Development Manager at M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund, and has held this position since March 2020. In addition, Andrew acts as a Board Observer for several companies, including Rescale, WorkSpan, inVia Robotics, Wandelbots, and Pod Foods. Andrew's experience at Microsoft includes various roles focused on partner development and channel management, contributing to the growth of Azure cloud infrastructure and supporting service providers in Canada. Prior to Microsoft, Andrew worked as an Investment Representative at BMO Nesbitt Burns, where involvement in managing significant assets was noted, and participated in early-stage business development for Gata Labs. Academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University.
