Eric Cardinal

Eric Cardinal is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor to the CEO at Optionality since September 2024, Cardinal has been an Advisory Board Member and Senior Vice-President at M&A Club Canada since February 2009. Previous positions include Partner at Oaklins E. Canada, where expertise was applied in mid-market M&A, and Senior Director at Velocity Trade, specializing in currency trading and cash management services. Cardinal has also held leadership roles at IJW & Co., Ltd., and IJW Capital, along with significant positions at Scotiabank and Alternative Capital Group Inc. Cardinal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from HEC Montréal and completed the Canadian Securities Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.
