Cesar Magalhaes

Cesar Magalhaes is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Operational Excellence for Base Metals & New Minerals at Maaden since October 2021, focusing on performance improvement and data management. Prior to this role, Cesar spent over seven years at Anglo American, where responsibilities included designing and implementing the Operating Model for the Quellaveco Copper Project in Peru, as well as driving business improvement across global operations. Earlier experience at AngloGold Ashanti involved overseeing operational performance management and leading strategic projects in Brazil. Cesar holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Henley Business School, a Senior Leadership Program certification from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Universidade FUMEC.
