Omar Boutahar

Omar Boutahar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to present. Omar has held roles such as Regional Marketing Manager at OCP Group, Senior Consultant at Accenture, and Commercial Finance Manager at Shell Vivo Lubricants. Currently, they hold leadership positions at Maaden as Vice President for Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Partnerships, and as the VP for Mergers & Acquisitions. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member at both Ma'aden Aluminium Company and Ma'aden Bauxite Aluminium Company, and as a Board Director at Meridian, MFCL.

Omar Boutahar has a background in executive education and leadership programs. Omar attended Harvard Business School in 2017-2018 for an executive education program in Leadership. In 2012-2013, they also pursued executive education at HEC Paris in Strategy & Marketing. Prior to this, they completed their Engineer degree at Télécom Paris in 2003-2006, followed by a Master's degree at Eurecom in 2006. In 2019, Omar continued to focus on leadership development at Crotonville Alumni in a program related to Leadership, Future, and Coaching.
