Deia Ahmed

Deia Ahmed has worked in the travel and hospitality industry since 1999. Deia began their career as a Front Office Agent at Pyramids Park Inter-Continental Resort in 1999. Deia then moved to Semirames Intercontinental Hotel in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Front Desk. In 2004, they joined Cairo Express Travel as an Assistant Tour Operator, where they handled hotels, transportation, and visa for clients. In 2005, they became Contracting Manager at Sun International Tourism, where they negotiated financial and operational issues with providers and practitioners. In 2009, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Z-Tours, where they developed new business pitches for effective on-boarding of new clients. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Business Development Manager at World Global Trading LTD - WGT, where they developed strategies for retaining or enhancing existing market share in the assigned territory. Since 2014, they have been a Business Intelligence Manager at Youtravel.com Ltd, where they are responsible for analyzing, adjusting, and reporting the daily pick-ups, conducting competitive benchmark studies, and analyzing market trends. In 2022, they began working as a Business Intelligence Manager at Mabaat.

Deia Ahmed's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Management from Cairo University, obtained between 1997 and 2001, and an A+ from Shoubra High School, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
