Samantha Barnes

Samantha Barnes is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in nursing and clinical research. Currently serving as a Ward Manager at MAC Clinical Research since June 2016, Samantha has previously held the position of Senior Nurse in orthopaedic rehabilitation at NHS Trust from 2013 to 2016. Prior experience includes working as a Clinical Research Nurse at ICON plc from November 2011 to December 2013, where expertise was gained in phase 1 clinical trials, particularly focusing on metabolic diabetic patient studies. Samantha's nursing career began at NHS Trust as a Staff Nurse on a surgical trauma unit from 2008 to 2011, where responsibilities included patient care for severe surgical cases and coordination of ward activities. Samantha holds a degree in Nursing from The University of Salford, earned between 2005 and 2008.
