J. Christopher Woiwode is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Macerich since January 2012. In this role, Woiwode leads a three-member corporate team, overseeing the development and implementation of security programs that achieved Department for Homeland Security SAFETY Act compliance, while managing a multimillion-dollar budget and governing contracts for over 1,000 security personnel. Prior to this, Woiwode spent 24 years at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, culminating in the position of Assistant Section Chief in the Counterintelligence Division, where leadership of a cross-functional team of more than 100 agents was crucial in directing national security initiatives.
