Jennifer Long

Jennifer Long PhD is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at MacEwan University, where responsibilities include teaching courses on anthropological concepts and ethnographic methods. Prior to this position, Jennifer served as an Assistant Professor at McMaster University, focusing on communications and management within engineering. Additionally, Jennifer is the owner of JP Long Consulting, offering qualitative research and intercultural competency services. Throughout an extensive career in academia and consulting, Jennifer has held roles in course design, curriculum development, and ethnographic research across multiple institutions, including Wilfrid Laurier University and Western University. Jennifer holds a PhD in Migration and Ethnic Relations from Western University and has a diverse educational background in anthropology and social transformation.
