Kristin Donnan is a seasoned screenwriter, author, and publisher with extensive experience in various media. Since 1982, Kristin has worked at Rockin' Dog Studio, where multiple feature screenplays and books have been written, including one that inspired an Emmy® award-winning documentary. Kristin serves as a Giant-Screen Film & Television Writer at MacGillivray Freeman Films, contributing scripts for educational IMAX films. Ongoing professional development is pursued through Screenwriting U, focusing on contemporary screenwriting techniques. As a co-founder and editor of High Plains Art from 2006 to 2014, Kristin explored diverse artistic topics, while previous roles at NBCUniversal and TIME provided a strong foundation in research and production coordination. Kristin holds an MFA in Screenwriting from The American Film Institute and advanced degrees in counseling and writing from South Dakota State University and UC San Diego, respectively.
