Yuriy Dushin

Yuriy Dushin has over five years of professional experience in data science and analytics. In 2021, they began their current role as Lead Data Scientist at Machine Medicine. Prior to this, they were Co-Founder at Alluvie from 2019-2021, Biostatistician at ICON plc from 2018-2019, Data Science Advisor at Motorica from 2018-2019, and Analyst at adidas Group from 2016-2018. At ICON plc, they were responsible for a €2M Research and Development budget and developed statistical sections of 3 clinical trial protocols. At Motorica, they advised senior management on data science pipeline from data collection to storage and analysis. At adidas Group, they developed statistical models for analysis and prediction of traffic and sales in an online store.

Yuriy Dushin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Southampton between 2014 and 2017. Yuriy then went on to receive a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh between 2017 and 2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from MongoDB in MongoDB Cluster Administration and MongoDB for Python Developers.
