Jorge Rios Caraza is a food engineer with extensive experience in product development and research. Currently serving as an Especialista en Desarrollo de Nuevos Productos at Grupo la Calera & Ovosur since August 2014, Jorge focuses on developing both local and export products in line with corporate policies regarding nutrition, quality, safety, and regulations. Additionally, Jorge has been involved in research and development at Machu Picchu Foods S.A.C since March 2012, where responsibilities include formulating products at the laboratory level and overseeing industrial trials. Jorge's career began in 2011 at Arcor SAIC as an Asistente de Investigacion y Desarrollo, where responsibilities included ensuring adherence to good practices in the innovation process and facilitating communication between industrial and marketing teams.
