Rick Busch

Rick Busch is a technology risk and information security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Director of Technology Risk at Mackenzie Investments since November 2022, Rick has improved team collaboration within a diverse and remote environment while providing critical risk assessment and cybersecurity services. Previously, Rick held the position of Manager of Information Security at Canada Life, where a business-focused information security team was established, offering vital services including Security Advisory and Threat Risk Assessments. Rick's career began as a Network Specialist at OASIS - Auto Complete Systems and has included roles with entities such as St. Thomas Police Service and London Life, emphasizing risk management, security analysis, and cybersecurity education. Rick holds a degree in the Network Specialist Program from CDI College and a diploma in Applied Arts from Fanshawe College.
