Jakub Dauksza has extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as a Product Designer at Macphie UK since December 2022, focusing on product development, design specifications, and cross-functional collaboration. Prior to this role, Jakub worked as a NPD & Specification Technologist at Strathmore Foods for three years, where responsibilities included recipe development, project management, and quality assurance. Jakub's culinary background includes positions as a Chef at Cashleys Restaurant and Sous Chef at Avery & Co Restaurant, alongside a commis chef role at Macdonalds Hotels. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Food and Consumer Science from Abertay University and various professional cookery certifications from Dundee and Angus College, complemented by research experience in gelatine and collagen extraction at the University of Naples Federico II.
