Brittany Hume Charm

Head of Growth, Global Health at Macro-Eyes

Brittany Hume Charm works with mission-driven entrepreneurial teams to execute, promote, and scale promising innovations in health access and equity. She particularly enjoys growing impact by developing partnerships between unlikely collaborators, such as startups, large corporations, governments, and the social sector.

Brittany has experience introducing innovative technologies to global health supply chains, having previously led global health growth and partnerships at Zipline, a venture-backed startup that designs, manufactures, and operates drones to deliver lifesaving and essential medical products. In this role, she developed large partnerships involving ministries of health, corporations, foundations, and development agencies to extend Zipline’s services to new communities and patients. In addition to Zipline, Brittany worked at the intersection of health delivery innovation, business, and entrepreneurship in roles at The Health Initiative, the Skoll Foundation, the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, and McKinsey & Company.

Brittany was a member of the inaugural 2020 US cohort of WomenLift Health, a leadership initiative by Stanford and the Gates Foundation for women who are on track to become top-level decision makers in health practice, policy and research. She serves on the Board of Directors of Medic, a nonprofit tech startup that builds digital health tools for community health workers. She received a BA from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
