Taylor Moss is currently the lead software architect at MacStadium. Taylor has been with the company for 4 years and 1 month, during which time they have held the positions of lead software architect and lead software developer. Prior to joining MacStadium, Moss was a software developer with Virtual Command, LLC, where they were part of a two person team that was acquired by MacStadium. Theirdevelopment work there included making heavy use of the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and Node.js) and Socket.IO to deliver fast, real-time interaction. Taylor eventually switched to RethinkDB as a database solution. Taylor also utilized Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration of technology, as well as making use of KVM, QEMU, and libvirt to enhance virtualization capabilities.

Before Virtual Command, Moss was a software developer with Procur, where they utilized JavaScript technologies to build an API driven B2B web platform for buyers and suppliers to connect and manage relationships. The platform was built on Node.js through Sails, an MVC framework, and MongoDB as a database.

Moss began their career in IT as an entrepreneur, self-employed for 6 years. Taylor then did a 7-month internship/development role with DM Analytics, LLC followed by a 9-month software support role with CGM, LLC.

Taylor Moss has a New Media Certificate from the New Media Institute of Grady College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
