Callum Thomson

Callum Thomson, CEng, is a Principal Engineer at MacTaggart Scott since July 2014, with a significant role as the technical lead on projects exceeding £8M and responsibilities including line management for six engineers and chairing design reviews. Previously, Callum held positions as a Project Engineer, where responsibilities included mechanical design delegation, engineering drawing review, customer presentations, and mentoring iMechE Developing Engineers, as well as a Design Engineer, focusing on design and analysis for naval projects. Callum began the career with an internship at MacTaggart Scott in 2013 and has prior experience as an Installation and Servicing Assistant at H.A West Medical LTD. A graduate of The University of Edinburgh, Callum holds a Masters of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering with Renewable Energy.
