Karis Moore

Karis Moore is currently a Graduate Fellow at Mad Agriculture, starting in February 2024, following experience as a Warehouse Associate at Wallaroo Hat Company, LLC from January 2021 to January 2024, where support was provided to finance, inventory management, and customer service teams. Previously, Karis served as a Team Lead at BrightSide Produce from January 2023 to July 2023, mentoring interns in produce harvesting and distribution, and as an intern focused on enhancing fresh produce availability for underserved communities. Additionally, Karis held the position of New Member Director for the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta from January 2020 to December 2021, overseeing recruitment and education for new members. Karis is pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Food Systems at the University of Colorado Boulder and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sustainability Studies from San Diego State University, complemented by studies in International/Global Studies at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici.
