To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a Senior Accountant. As a key member of the accounting team, you will lead projects to identify low-lift/high-return business opportunities, and enhance the quality of information we deliver to our investors and Board. This role reports to the Controller.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee and own the Inventory Accounting Function, including but not limited to:
Serve as point of contact for all things OPEX, owning the accounting for the following major spend categories:
Own and lead bank & credit card reconciliations
Identify and troubleshoot disruptions in data flows that affect order management
Prepare month-end journal entries and schedules related to items noted above
Produce ad hoc reporting and schedule production to support audit and tax requirements
Identify ways to improve processes and efficiencies during our phase of rapid growth and channel expansions
Who You Are:
You’re a curious, creative, and analytical thinker that’s passionate about making an impact in a fast-moving, agile, people-centric company. You have prior experience as a revenue accountant and operate well independently but are not afraid to ask for help when needed. You have a bias to implement and test solutions.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree required, CPA a plus
Excellent communicator who is skilled at building cross-functional relationships
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and also collaboratively
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:
Familiarity working with ERP solutions (Netsuite) and Celigo experience a plus
Familiarity with e-commerce and/or physical goods companies
