Chris Seltzer

Chris Seltzer has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and management. Chris is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Made Renovation since 2022. Prior to this, Chris worked at Compass as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they successfully led the Engineering Platform organization and rebuilt the Infrastructure Tooling and Kubernetes teams. Chris also held the position of Engineering Manager at Compass, where they played a key role in scaling the P&E org and navigating events like IPO and Covid. Before joining Compass, Chris worked at Attune as a Founding Engineer, where they were responsible for building the engineering team and architecting a service-oriented platform. Chris also gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Haven Life, where they focused on platform integrations and as an Application Developer at Dow Jones, where they contributed to the development of a subscription management and billing platform. Chris's early professional experiences include internships at Microsoft, where they worked on Dynamics AX for Retail, and AGI, where they improved upon a demonstration sandbox and designed an orbit tuner. Prior to their career in engineering, Chris served as an Infantry Rifleman in the United States Marine Corps, where they demonstrated leadership skills and combat experience.
