Betty-Jo Wynham has a diverse and extensive background in education. Betty-Jo currently serves as the High School Principal and CTE Administrator at Madison County Public Schools, a position they have held since July 2019. Before that, they worked as the Assistant Principal at Albemarle High School from July 2018 to June 2019. Prior to joining Albemarle County Public Schools, Betty-Jo served as the Assistant Principal at Eastern View High School in Culpeper County from July 2014 to June 2018. Betty-Jo also had a role as a Special Education Teacher and Reading Interventionist at Eastern View High School from July 2008 to July 2014, where they played a pivotal role in implementing a multi-tiered secondary literacy system and providing specialized instruction. Betty-Jo began their career in education as a Middle School Special Education Teacher at Madison County Public Schools from August 2007 to July 2008. Betty-Jo'sexperiences have equipped their with a deep understanding of educational leadership, special education, and literacy instruction.

Betty-Jo Wynham obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from Randolph-Macon College from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and Teaching from Liberty University, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Finally, Betty-Jo attended The George Washington University from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Education degree in School Leadership & Administration.
