Mike Ellis

Mike Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Mike currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Madison Industries, where they have been working since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Filtration Group from 2017 to 2021.

In their earlier career, Mike held senior leadership positions at United Airlines, serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2015 to 2016 and Vice President of Human Resources from 2013 to 2015. Mike was responsible for developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives for the global workforce of over 86,000 employees. Mike also acted as a management liaison for multiple committees of United Continental Holdings Board of Directors.

Before joining United Airlines, Mike worked at Towers Watson & Co. as a Managing Consultant from 2006 to 2013. Mike provided risk management, investment, and HR consulting services.

Prior to that, Mike served as the Senior Director of Compensation and Benefits at Continental Airlines from 2003 to 2006.

Mike began their career in 1995 at Hewitt Associates, where they held the positions of Multi-Service Project Manager and Defined Contribution Consultant. During their time at Hewitt Associates, they played a crucial role in aligning the company's outsourcing capabilities with clients' needs.

Before venturing into the corporate world, Mike served in the United States Marine Corp as a Marine/KC130 Loadmaster/Radio Operator. During their four-year enlistment, they accumulated over 1,000 flight hours and received several meritorious promotions and medals.

Throughout their career, Mike Ellis has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in human resources and organizational development.

Mike Ellis attended DePaul University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in an unspecified field of study in 2001. Later, they enrolled at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2016.
