Brooke Kamin Rapaport serves as the Artistic Director and Martin Friedman Chief Curator at Madison Square Park Conservancy since 2013, overseeing significant projects including the U.S. Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Biennale with artist Martin Puryear. In addition to contributing as a writer and editor for Sculpture Magazine since 1996, Rapaport has guest curated notable exhibitions, including "Houdini: Art and Magic" at The Jewish Museum in 2010, with the accompanying catalogue published by Yale University Press. Previous experience includes influential roles at the Brooklyn Museum where exhibitions were organized, and early curatorial positions at the Jamaica Arts Center and Whitney Museum of American Art. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Amherst College, a Master of Arts in Art History from Rutgers University, and a fellowship from the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program.
