Tom Pokorny

Tom Pokorny is an experienced leader in strategic sourcing and procurement, currently serving as Vice President at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals since January 2022, after previously holding roles such as Executive Director in both Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain. Prior to Madrigal, Tom was Director of Global Strategic Sourcing at Novartis Gene Therapies from January 2019 to February 2022. Tom's career also includes significant positions at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Hospira, Inc., and Abbott Laboratories, demonstrating a strong background in global category management and sourcing. Tom holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Stout.
